I was hoping to see some chat about what's going on in ST. I've seen a couple of people post about having seen this or that in random threads, and I was hoping we could pull in some discussion. The linked article is from Kristy Robinson's coverage of ST. I noticed the quote below, although it doesn't mean much in the scheme of things:

"Josh Harrison saw time at shortstop today, and both Nick Evans and Matt Hague were at third during batting practice. Also during BP, Hague hit back-to-back bombs out of the field to left. One of them actually hit the palm tree and a piece fall off."

i’m not surprised. he’d probably be the first one to put one out of the park…on the LF side!

please make him the everyday starter!

Did you misread that? Said Hague hit the bomb to LF, not Evans. Or am I zoning out on what you are trying to say?

he was out drinking with Coonelly. pay him no mind.
Also

Navarro and Cutch showed up today. Navarro was crushing the ball, though that may be a result of being ahead of the others because he played winter ball.

Also, Igarashi looked particularly sharp, as did Kyle McPherson, in their bullpens.
