If anyone wants to play, I normally do join one fantasy baseball league on yahoo each year. Just let me know, hopefully we can get enough people from BD
C Shint - February 8, 2012
I seem to remember a BD league happening a year or two ago. Didn’t join because it was a h2h league (a format which I am unusually bad at) but I wouldn’t mind joining a rotisserie league if there were interest.
Kidspud - February 9, 2012
i'd be game too
i played in 2 BD leagues last year, and they were both a lot of fun… both h2h though, but not the regular scoring.
BurgherKing - February 9, 2012
havent played in a few year but
if y’all are doing one and want another person id be down for a h2h league.
bbautista24 - February 9, 2012
Speaking of
are we still on for the Keeper League Trogs headed up?
Wizard of Woz - February 9, 2012
i am
he sent out email a day or two back.
BurgherKing - February 9, 2012
You sending my e-mails to spam or something?
We’ve got definite commitments from 13 of 16 returning owners. I’ve added 1 person already. If I don’t find out who the mysterious “TEAM 12” is, that team will open up, but that’s about it….
Trogluddite - February 9, 2012
I was asking Mr. King, specifically
I believe that I already have indicated that I am in. Looking forward to it. Set my keepers and everything.
Wizard of Woz - February 9, 2012
Hmmmm,
So joshing e-mails are as clear as the use of the Imperial “we”, eh? Sorry, was at work, w/o my commish stuff, and thought you had a serious question….
Trogluddite - February 9, 2012
Hey Trogs
I’m not sure if I replied to an email earlier (or noticed that we were supposed to), but if I am not in the current list of 13 committed-to-returning owners, then do add me!
I’m going to have to spend some time to figure out a 4th keeper
BurgherKing - February 9, 2012
Yeah, you're good.
Trogluddite - February 9, 2012
Email
Hey, I didn’t get an email, but I’m returning for sure. I’m team 12.
mah98 - February 9, 2012
Knucklehead....
JOKING!!! I think what happened is that when you registered your team, you didn’t include an e-mail address (or it didn’t take). So I couldn’t copy it from ESPN. So you didn’t get e-mails from either ESPN or my Trogg address. Shoot me an e-mail at psu72521@aol.com and I’ll get you back in the loop.
Trogluddite - February 9, 2012
FYI – If anyone doesn’t like their keepers, I have Kipnis, Goldschmidt, Worley, Jurrjens, and Boesch all available for picks.
Cheap Beer - February 9, 2012
I am game
Last year I was in 2 head to head leagues, after a long hiatus from fantasy baseball. I would love to get into a rotisserie this year. Are you thinking traditional stats, or something more spicy?
Wizard of Woz - February 9, 2012
i am def interested in joining a league, preferably a money league
PensRock1 - February 9, 2012
FWIW, I’ve used Yahoo for years and years for the one fantasy team I have (a long-term 5×5 roto keeper league). It’s a good platform, and you can’t argue with “free”.
Vlad - February 9, 2012
Yeah. I can’t really play fantasy sports anymore, but Yahoo’s platform is the best.
Charlie Wilmoth - February 9, 2012
Time?
Vlad - February 9, 2012
Mostly. I already have to (get to) spend several hours a day trolling the web for sports stuff.
Charlie Wilmoth - February 9, 2012
Yeah, well just be glad its
not I’m so old
anymore….Trogluddite - February 9, 2012
I run a competitive head-to-head league on Yahoo
It’s 8-10 fairly knowledgeable baseball guys. We’ll likely have 1 or 2 spots open this season, so if anyone wants in email me.
michaelbro8 - February 9, 2012
Looking for a league
I’d love a chance to play fantasy baseball with some Pirates fans (Roto specifically). Email is schilppryan@yahoo.com
Rainja - February 10, 2012
I have two Yahoo fantasy league teams
Head to Head, one with a weekly lineup and one with a daily lineup. PM me for more info if interested.
